Who is Jesus
In the beginning God created all things including mankind.
God gave mankind free will, told them to worship Him alone and to follow His commandments. Mankind through disobedience brought other gods into their lives and sinned against God. Jesus came as the Messiah to reconcile mankind back to God and to live lives which glorify God. Jesus through His death and resurrection gives us the gift of eternal life when we commit our lives to Him.
Jesus made statements which are recorded in the Bible of who He is. “I am the way, and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me”. Look up at the sky – Jesus is the creator of it all. Look at the wonders of nature all around you – Jesus is the creator of it all. Look at the marvels and complexities of yourself – Jesus is your Lord and Saviour when you commit your life to Him. Commit your life to Him and enjoy the joyous freedom of knowing that you are in an eternal relationship with Him.
The Salvation Prayer
What is a salvation prayer?
A salvation prayer is a prayer to Jesus accepting Him as your Lord and Saviour and committing to follow Him. Jesus gives eternal life to those who accept Him. We are saved by grace – He accepts us as we are – we are not saved by doing good works but to do good works in following Jesus in obedience. The words of your salvation prayer can differ – if you are ready to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour you can pray this prayer.
“Lord Jesus, I want to know you personally. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life to you and ask you to come in as my Saviour and Lord. Take control of my life. I repent of my sins and disobedience to God – thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life with You. Make me the kind of person you want me to be”
How to live
The Christian life is to live in obedience to Jesus’ commands.
It is a life, led by the Holy Spirit and growing and maturing in faith. Fellowship with fellow Christians is an essential part of learning more and growing in faith.

A cornerstone of our Christian walk is to strive to live by the values that Jesus taught:
Love
The greatest command-
to love God and our neighbours, reflecting God’s love in action.
Honesty
To be truthful and honest in all that we do.
Forgiveness
God forgives us when we go to him and repent knowing that we are forgiven for our wrongs. So too we must forgive others.
Humility
By recognising that it is God at work in our lives we don’t seek personal recognition.
Service
Serving others and helping those in need reflects Jesus example.
Compassion
To show empathy and compassion particularly to the marginalised and those suffering.
Faithfulness
Being faithful to God and to one another builds strong relationships
Generosity
To be generous with what God has gifted us with
Courage
To stand firm when our faith is challenged.
The Gospel Message And Business As Mission
As followers of Jesus we should be using every opportunity in our every day lives to share the Gospel message.
In our businesses it is important that the way we operate our businesses are in alignment with the Christian values that Jesus taught.
- Being generous with what we have been blessed with i.e. to help those in need whether it be financially or in kind.
- Being generous with our time – to engage and connect with others.
- Letting our demeanour reflect the love of Christ with those we come in contact with.
- Treating those we employ fairly and with respect.
- Be willing to share our personal stories of what Jesus means to us.
